anyway... my prediction is a 3-2 win to England, we will win 1st test, then it will be 2-2 coming to the final test and England will win!

i rekon 2-1 to the aussies (as much as i hate to say it). i think pieterson will be worse in tests. Gillespie will pick up but the worry is that glen and wet lee are bowling well and gilchrist is on fire. England will have to be at thier best all 11 of them!

Thorpe NOT Bell .. Bad choice .. aussies will be happy with that

Bell will do well i think. the aussies dont know much about him. its vaughan, tresco and struass im worried about. the aussies know how to get them out and thats got to change.

2-1 to England.

I think that with the batting line ups both teams have that there will be a couple of draws.

Lords - England win - Harmy and Hoggy love bowling at lords and Strauss loves batting there cos he plays for middlesex. Gillespee and Lee have always struggled with the slope at lords.

Edgbaston - Ozzie win - Will be seething after loosing the first test and they usually win there. Tresco struggles at Edgbaston and so does Flintoff.

Old Trafford - Draw - Good batting pitch and there is always bad light or rain.

Trent bridge - Hard to call could go either way. So Draw

The Brit Oval - England have always done well there in tests with the fast outfield that players like Vaughn, Tresco and Strauss have ana excellent record.

i actually forgot about the possibility of draws  :oops:  :soapy tit wank:  so actually 2-1 England.

Bell will do well, he has proven he can do it in tests and to be honest, im fine with thorpe being left out.

3-1 Australia. 1-1 after the first 2.

2-1 to England, got to win back the Ashes sometime and this is as good a time as any, got one of the best chances for ages.

3-1 to Australia, although 2-2 might not be a bad bet

I think 2-2 is a good call too. Don't get too many drawn tests these days unless it rains which it will do for at least one of them. As long as our top 3 can get some runs I think it will pretty close.

3-1 to Australia, the second day of the second test will be the best days cricket ever.  As this will be the day I am at Edgbaston, Aug 5.  Can;t fooking wait.

I think its going to be 3-1 to the aussie bastards. Although  warne's problems off the pitch might affect him,mcgrath could get injured ,if this happened[please god,and unlikely]we would stand a chance.The next ashes series is our chance to get the urn back.With warne and mcgrath retired ,the aussies will be seriously down on fire power,these two are up there with the best bowlers ever and are irreplaceable.

Just going back through the Ashes predictions, interesting to see a few opted for 2-1 and 2-2. Shame on you Boeta, for predicting a 3-1 Aussies victory!
