Foderingham closing in on clean sheet record

WES Foderingham is just two games away from equalling the record of successive clean sheets kept by a Swindon goalkeeper, but he would happily forego having his name in the history books if it
means Town collect three points tomorrow.

This story is like that movie you saw.

The one where the detective is 48 hours from retirement, but can't stay behind his desk when a serial killer hits town.

Or that old war movie where the veteran pilot has one more mission before he's d-mob'd.

Thanks Adver!

My thoughts exactly!   ;D

So that will be a goal down after 5 mins, then.

Almost exactly what I said in the other thread about this record!

Anyone know the record for clean sheets for a keeper at the start of his professional career?

He made his league debut for us and had only played non-league level previously.

I am pretty sure its 6 in Wayne Hennesseys first 6 league games on loan for Stockport.

9 in 9 for Hennessey. Wes has a long long way to go.

If anyone sees this cub hack on Saturday somewhere like Baker Street, feel free to apply slappage.

Not sure I like the thought of a 'loan' player holding a club record.

***THE SMEETON METHOD***

A record that was gifted to Stockport/Hennessey by a spectacularly woeful Swindon Town side.

On twitter he said that the bed in his hotel had a piss stain.

Maybe a prank from one of the other players about him keeping clean sheets?
