Title: Fridge Freezers Post by: horlock07 on Monday, October 24, 2011, 11:04:03 Does anyone know anything about these?
Ours appeared to pack up last night and is not now displaying even a power light (dunno about the interior light as it hasn't worked for years). The lack of lights makes me think that it is not even getting power which hopefully means that the fuse has gone in the plug (although as it didn't knock the fusebox out I fear this may be too simple). Its about 5 years old so probably not worth expensive repairs (and we have never really liked it anyway!) but any other ideas of east fixes etc? Freezer jolly good fellow... Title: Re: Fridge Freezers Post by: Foggy on Monday, October 24, 2011, 14:55:20 Did it just pack up or has it been failing for a while? Pretty simples things are freezers, just a stat, compressor and thats about all that can go wrong, try the fuse, it maybe tired( dont laugh), because of the high ampage that it takes everytime the compressor kicks in sometimes the fuses fail.
