Title: Anyone called by their middle name? Post by: Nils on Wednesday, July 13, 2005, 22:57:40 My mother is Norwegian and when I was born my parents were in the process of completing a move bk to Norway. Hence the flag as my avatar. But this all fell through but my parents gave me a Norwegian name so that I would "fit in" in Norway but it all fell through and they stayed here. So my real first name is Nils but my middle name is Richard and so everyone calls me Richard or Rich cos it is an English name.
And I went to an open day at this place the other day and you had to send in a form before you went and then did a register. It was the forst time in years that anyone apart from my Norwegian family have called me Nils, it just seemed strange. Any of you called by your middle name? Another guy was called Duncan but known as his middle name Rhys.
