To Cirencester Hospital for an operation....groin area :( :(

Suffice to say i am shitting myself as even the thought of a hospital makes me go weak at the knees.
Will be laid up for a couple of weeks(if i wake up from the op :cry:)....and with the added levels of painkilling drugs it will be even more fun on the TEF for me,so apologies in advance ;D

Best wishes Leefer, I've had loads of ops some quite big and not keen myself but youll be in great hands. Hope you get some attractive nurses, I always get the old matron types !

All the best mate, I hate hospitals and God I have been in enough, you will wake up fine and it will be the best sleep you have, just enjoy beong cared for and recover quickly.

That's spookie Leefer, that's the nurse that looked after me. Heard she now works at Cirencester in the groin op department !

Ask if they can ease the pain but leave the swelling.

Anyway while the Tramadol is wearing off just to say ta for your comments.
Typical of my luck i had two procedures done so am now walking like John Wayne with piles.

The day started badly when i tripped over ass over tit on account of the size 13 slippers they kindly supplied me even though i am size 10,when i did eventually get to my feet i was politly informed that i had my gown on the wrong way round and all could be seen.
So off i toddled in me size tens looking like a geriatric Claude Hopper on his way to some kinky skiing party when i was stopped in my tracks by the nurse informing me the surgeon was on his way....Mr Obami was a very nice man though there was that look of smug satisfaction on his face as he explained once again the gory details off my upcoming carnage......then off i nearly ran as by now i had nearly pissed myself.
After a trip back to the bed in my surgical stockings and pants i was politely asked if i wanted a sandwich.....funny i thought as i munched on it they even opened the packet....it was only when the patient returned to the bed next to mine did i realise i had eaten his chosen sarnie...needless to say another rollicking from the nurse for getting out of bed to get the sarnie..and a pain filled frown from Mr Patel my poor neighbour who then proceeded to chunter in Hindi for the next ten mins.

Oh well though i have a very sore reminder of my visit there the bright side is i have to sit on my ass for a week with only Mr Tramadol as company!

On a serious note the whole lot of staff there were first class,really nice and helpfull and couldnt do enough for me though the glint in Mr Obami's eye when he saw me in my stockings will stick in my mind for ever.
