Some shocking views in there!

I noticed there are no seats behind the floodlights anymore in the Town End, I sat their once during the Premier League era, luckily there was a couple of seats free further along to move in to 'cos they were awful

Presumably they gave you a discount? I got offered some restricted view tickets for a Derren Brown performence a few months' back and was surprised that the venue didn't knock a few quid off.

I guess so, I can't remember! They were stamped restricted view though

Hereford is by far the worst ground I have been to, the away end was (they've added some seats now) shocking.

And Dagenham.

Pretty decent view I thought? The away end was the best stand

The withdean

Anybody who says anywhere else never went to the Withdean, shocking away end. I actually took binoculars last time.

Never went because I heard it was so bad.

See, I don't understand this. Hereford's away end is fucking awesome! Terracing, covered and you share it with home supporters, which helps with the banter/atmosphere.

Aldershot's ground is one of my favourites as well, for the same reasons, proper old school grounds. Rather watch football in grounds like those than in 'Stadia', like Franchise.

enjoyed the trip to Hereford in the promotion season - well, except from being rounded up, walked through some graveyard & kept outside the train station for over an hour. Bloody joke that was

Spot on.  Two of the best grounds going.  Just can't understand why people like the shrewsburys, northamptons, colchesters etc of the world.  They're just horrible souless plastic stadiums that all look the same. Give me a shitty terrace, rottoen toliets and no mans land any day of the week.

No concidence that the atmosphere at both Crawley and Burton was ace = Terracing + Roof.

Spot on, if I want to watch a game in comfort I'll do that sat on the sofa watching the box.

The only new ground in recent years that looks decent is the Gayers new place,

Just watching TFL Review, Rotherham's Don Valley Stadium looks a hideous place to watch football, and located in a neighbouring city. Is Millmoor consigned to history then?

Yep, they're building a new stadium. Worst ground for views for me was the old Den

Stamford Bridge years back,so far away from the action, especially the home Shed End...like watching subuteo.

Nothing was worse was the old away end at the Manor. Shithole.

Upper tier the away end at Loftus Road (if you are at the very front or back) is awful

If my memory serves me correct there is a similar issue at elland road with concrete pillars in the top tier of the corner we get...i managed to get in the lower tier on our 3-0 win there last time & be right next a bunch of chavs, needless to say I had my fun :D

I remember the cup game we had there in the early 90's, we lost 1-0, it was bloody freezing night. The crowd was about 7k, we took about 500 on a terrace that held about 9k  :). I think I even cheered the Hazard miss that could have brought about extra time.

I agree with Matchroom Shirts, even though it's one of my favourite grounds, the 1st few rows at the front of the top tier, you can't see the goal below you. That and the Withdean, horrible memories aswell.
