Title: Ticket Prices Post by: bullethead on Friday, September 23, 2011, 13:57:37 Interesting video clip on the official Twon site, according to Jeremy Wray we need a crowd of 7.5K against Barnet for the reduced ticket prices to be viewed as a success...... any chance?
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: tans on Friday, September 23, 2011, 14:04:36 Not if they aren't that price on the matchday itself, bit Fucking gay you have to buy in advance
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: bullethead on Friday, September 23, 2011, 14:08:06 Yeh - good point that. Gonna lose a few who might've been tempted to walk up on the day I would imagine.
Make a note of this Mr W! Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: nevillew on Friday, September 23, 2011, 14:10:37 Not if they aren't that price on the matchday itself, bit Fucking gay you have to buy in advance Why ? Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: tans on Friday, September 23, 2011, 14:19:29 As bullethead said, probably lose a few walk ups
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Batch on Friday, September 23, 2011, 15:19:10 Not if they aren't that price on the matchday itself, bit Fucking gay you have to buy in advance I don't understand why they have done this at all. It makes no sense. Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Reg Smeeton on Friday, September 23, 2011, 15:26:16 I don't understand why they have done this at all. It makes no sense. Not saying this is right, but might it be something to do with not being able to charge more to away fans for the same accommodation... Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Batch on Friday, September 23, 2011, 16:25:00 Not saying this is right, but might it be something to do with not being able to charge more to away fans for the same accommodation... If you mean different clubs away fans as well....I see.. Can't charge £20, that would break the rule away fans can't be fleeced compared to other games. Can't charge £25 while the home fans are charged £20 for same standard seats. But its all OK somehow if you do it in advance :) Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Reg Smeeton on Friday, September 23, 2011, 16:38:15 If you mean different clubs away fans as well....I see.. But its all OK somehow if you do it in advance :) That's my guess...it is a bugger though, as I can imagine a few turning up having heard about reduced prices only to discover full prices. Just a query, how many of those will be season ticket holders?Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: leefer on Friday, September 23, 2011, 18:57:28 Anyone seen the poster in the ticket office showing the four leagues as a table with the season ticket prices...made interesting viewing with Arsenal tickets the dearest....we were fourth bottom :hmmm:
Ipswich were fourth dearest, with some tickets over a thousand pounds, didn't read the small print so can anyone else throw some light on how they worked this table out? Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: ScillyRed on Friday, September 23, 2011, 19:14:41 I am a fan who has not been since the Bristol Rovers game at the beginning of the orange revolution. I could go tomorrow but cannot justify £25 given the nature of the opposition - so that's one off the attendance !
Hope we win - I would have gone at the advance prices on the day. Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Simon Pieman on Friday, September 23, 2011, 20:10:42 You know you can order by phone and collect on the day?
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Whits on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 03:58:03 I am a fan who has not been since the Bristol Rovers game at the beginning of the orange revolution. I could go tomorrow but cannot justify £25 given the nature of the - so that's one off the attendance ! this really annoys me, have you called the club to book a cheaper price? Yes, its a mild inconvience to book in advance but you save your £4 when you include your booking fee, the fact you cant turn up on the day and buy a cheap ticket is an issue but surely you can see they are trying to do something to help the fans?Hope we win - I would have gone at the advance prices on the day. As stated above, cant see them being able to charge home fans 20 and away fans 25 on the day for a restricted view in the arkells :-) Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 06:55:58 7,500 should be possible. Depends how many people view the £5 less as a considerable enough discount though I guess.
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Bogus Dave on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 09:05:11 we won't get 7,500. even £20 to watch fucking barnet is too much
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Simon Pieman on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 09:08:26 we won't get 7,500. even £20 to watch fucking barnet is too much I agree £20 is too much, but not because 'it's Barnet', because we're actually not very good in the grand scheme of the football league. Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 11:22:06 Even £20 is a completely shocking price. £15 is more realistic
Put into perspective I paid 11euro to watch a Bundesliga 2 match (18euro to sit) Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: sonicyouth on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 12:00:53 I agree £20 is too much, but not because 'it's Barnet', because we're actually not very good in the grand scheme of the football league. yarp.My own fault but I book my tickets online so home tickets work out as £27 for me, today £22. It's really not worth it for L2 football. The £14 at Burton last week was cheap, I'd be happy if ticket prices dropped permanently to the £20 mark and the club justified the booking fee and extra online booking fee. Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: jb on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 12:02:10 I reckon £17-£18 would be about right price
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Bathtime on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 17:22:19 Cheap tickets my arse.....turned up today to pay £ 25.00 just too much for a League 2 game against Barnet. Victory makes it easier but had we lost god forbid or drawn I would be completely pissed off....poor...
I think a programme could be thrown in, at least if prices, are going to stay at this level. I don't think the club could have done any more to make it clear the offer ended at 5pm yesterday. Not that I agree with the price hike. Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Gnasher on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 17:46:42 If you don't use the internet often then how would people know? Was it advertised in the adver? Internet, radio, local paper. What other media is available? If you live out of town then you telephone the club or use the internet. Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: jb on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 17:50:51 Internet, radio, local paper. What other media is available? If you live out of town then you telephone the club or use the internet. Yeh fair enough. That wasn't a dig, I genuinely didn't know if it was just on the internet. Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Coca Fola on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 17:53:59 It was a decent attendance today. 7000 home fans for a league 2 game against Barnet is very good.
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Saxondale on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 18:52:27 Almost 7300 and Barnet bought 100 tops.
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Coca Fola on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 18:53:15 178 Barnet.
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Saxondale on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 19:31:16 Really? Were they hiding? Wouldn't have blamed them.
Title: Re: Ticket Prices Post by: Langers on Sunday, September 25, 2011, 09:41:29 I'm pretty sure their numbers halved at HT aswell.
