Interesting video clip on the official Twon site, according to Jeremy Wray we need a crowd of 7.5K against Barnet for the reduced ticket prices to be viewed as a success...... any chance?

Not saying this is right, but might it be something to do with not being able to charge more to away fans for the same accommodation...

Can't charge £20, that would break the rule away fans can't be fleeced compared to other games.
Can't charge £25 while the home fans are charged £20 for same standard seats.

But its all OK somehow if you do it in advance :)

That's my guess...it is a bugger though, as I can imagine a few turning up having heard about reduced prices only to discover full prices.

Anyone seen the poster in the ticket office showing the four leagues as a table with the season ticket prices...made interesting viewing with Arsenal tickets the dearest....we were fourth bottom :hmmm:
Ipswich were fourth dearest,with some tickets over a thousand pounds,didn't read the small print so can anyone else throw some light on how they worked this table out?

I am a fan who has not been since the Bristol Rovers game at the beginning of the orange revolution. I could go tomorrow but cannot justify £25 given the nature of the opposition - so that's one off the attendance !
Hope we win - I would have gone at the advance prices on the day.

this really annoys me, have you called the club to book a cheaper price? Yes, its a mild inconvience to book in advance but you save your £4 when you include your booking fee, the fact you cant turn up on the day and buy a cheap ticket is an issue but surely you can see they are trying to do something to help the fans?

As stated above, cant see them being able to charge home fans 20 and away fans 25 on the day for a restricted view in the arkells :-)

7,500 should be possible. Depends how many people view the £5 less as a considerable enough discount though I guess.

I agree £20 is too much, but not because 'it's Barnet', because we're actually not very good in the grand scheme of the football league.

Even £20 is a completely shocking price. £15 is more realistic
Put into perspective I paid 11euro to watch a Bundesliga 2 match (18euro to sit)

My own fault but I book my tickets online so home tickets work out as £27 for me, today £22. It's really not worth it for L2 football.

The £14 at Burton last week was cheap, I'd be happy if ticket prices dropped permanently to the £20 mark and the club justified the booking fee and extra online booking fee.

Cheap tickets my arse.....turned up today to pay £ 25.00 just too much for a League 2 game against Barnet. Victory makes it easier but had we lost god forbid or drawn I would be completely pissed off....poor...

I think a programme could be thrown in, at least if prices, are going to stay at this level.

I don't think the club could have done any more to make it clear the offer ended at 5pm yesterday. Not that I agree with the price hike.

Internet, radio, local paper. What other media is available? If you live out of town then you telephone the club or use the internet.

It was a decent attendance today. 7000 home fans for a league 2 game against Barnet is very good.

Almost 7300 and Barnet bought 100 tops.

Really?  Were they hiding?  Wouldn't have blamed them.

I'm pretty sure their numbers halved at HT aswell.
