That's why De Vita came in for Gabilondo at last minute against Rotherham. Not relevant as he's unavailable this week but McCormack doesn't count as home grown as he played in Ireland until after his 18th birthday. Title: Re: Team for tomorrow? have now looked up his stats at Scoccerbase.com which records him as signing for Preston in Dec 2002, shortly before his 19th birthday so he wouldn't have had 3 full seasons in England before end of season in which he turned 21.
