I just watched a band, they were good. The drummer likes reading the TEF but doesn't post. He told me to start posting on the TEF again to make it good like it used to be. I don't really know where to start.

I just spent nearly 5 hours in a 4-max game on Pokerstars before going from 1st, to out in 12th (out of 1000), due to bad beats/annoying hands. The final one being AK V AQ. So fucking annoying. So I feel your pain!

well just been dealt another really cruel blow.  playing double your money, 6 players, top three double their money.

some dick was more interested in raising against me than trying to get the last short stack out, all i wanted to do was to get my money and was trying to just take the blinds from the short stack but he kept on fucking raising me and was doing fuck all about the other guy.  fucking wanker, i don't understand why.

was shaping up to be a profitable poker session but those last three games have taken me to only about 15 quid up.  lose KQ to J8 and AA to KJ and then the prick in the last game.  he'd have got his money just fine if he'd just ganged up with me instead of going against me.

i haven't felt this pissed of in absolutely ages, i fucking hate it.

The internet is a wonderful thing....I spent most of my time in a pre-internet world, whereby if you wanted to find something out, then it was having a book on the shelf or going to the library. This required a certain amount of effort, yet it seems that despite the having the most powerful tool known to mankind at their fingertips, many prefer to wallow in ignorance.

Whole books can be put online though Reg. Ignorance? Or practicality?

I don't think reg was complaining about online tools encouraging ignorance, just that there's less excuse to be ignorant now because learning is always instants away.

Seriously freshers week/ two weeks is the easiest time to pull women, all the women are much more up for it. People seem to get more reserved when they start to form their friendship groups etc. I had a threesome on my second night.  8)
