Apparently a PL star is being named as a cokehead who failed an internal drugs test, but it was kept quiet when he moved to his new team in a multi million pound deal.

I wonder who that could have been?

I was told (from a journo in London) that Alan Hutton was asked to stay away from Spurs Lodge the other season after failing an internal drugs test. They apparently made up an injury excuse for him while he was off getting off the coke and only came back when he could pass an FA drugs test. No idea how true it is, but seemed like a strange rumour to make up.

Just made a multi-million pound switch to Villa, so would fit that part of the desription?

Possibly, however he is a jock, and we all know that the only drugs they touch are irn bru and heroin :D

I missread the article, it just says that the player was transferred between Premiership clubs it doesnt say when this play was transferred, so it could have been a couple of years ago.

The list is endless on who it could be, but if they are/were England internationals then it shortens the list a little.
