With a 1pm kick off on a sunday (I appreciate it's been moved by the police) you'd have thought someone, even ESPN, would have taken us up on it.... D'oh. In a club in Brighton until 4am so cannot justify driving to Swindon for 1pm.... Rubbish. Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: Batch on Friday, August 19, 2011, 10:09:14 so cannot justify driving to Swindon for 1pm.... Rubbish. That is rubbish. Have a word with yourself. Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: juddie on Friday, August 19, 2011, 10:14:31 that is lame!

Rubbish. so, you want a pat on the back for being in a club til 4am ? Well done You should be proud of yourself, that takes some doing Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: Trashbat? on Friday, August 19, 2011, 11:17:37 :moon: In a club in Brighton I take it from these two parts of your post you will be too busy getting bummed to go to the biggest game of the season?! Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: SuggWillSugg MBE on Friday, August 19, 2011, 11:25:35 You could leave brighton at 10 and get to Swindon for 12ish,
Half hour in a pub then to the ground. That's 5 hours sleep, Easy! Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: walrus on Friday, August 19, 2011, 12:10:58 Sorry I'm phishing...
I can't afford it. I bought a new car, and subsequently can't afford to drive it. I booked tickets to see Nero tomorrow night in Digital, Brighton but have no money for drink, drugs or for Oxf*rd tickets as I had to buy a new bed (long story). So looks like I'll be minesweeping and contending with Sky Sports News. I seem to becoming an armchair Swindon fan, which is a bit ironic. I'll be at Crawley away (at home) though! :D Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: Keemo on Saturday, August 20, 2011, 11:04:28 It should be so everyone can see Swindon spank Oxford soapy tit wank
:D Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: blinkpip on Saturday, August 20, 2011, 14:52:57 What a Dry lunch. He would rather buy tickets for nero, than Town V Pox.
Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: walrus on Saturday, August 20, 2011, 15:04:03 Nero is a tenner plus a fiver for the train... Swindon is twenty plus fifty for the petrol?
Sorry Fred... Didn't realise I'd touched a nerve. I'm sure you can remember those days eh?! Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: Only Me on Saturday, August 20, 2011, 15:47:57 Nero is a tenner plus a fiver for the train... Swindon is twenty plus fifty for the petrol? Sorry Fred... Didn't realise I'd touched a nerve. I'm sure you can remember those days eh?! Lame excuse. Book the train ticket early enough and you can get Swindon / Brighton return for £14 on Great Western. You could have booked ticket the train in June, if of course, you actually wanted to go. Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: walrus on Saturday, August 20, 2011, 15:57:22 I'm obviously an armchair fan...
I didn't start this thread to prove my credentials. I started it to find out if it was televised! I dunno if I can be arsed to haul my arse all the way to Broadfield to watch Crawley vs Swindon... Might just listen to the cheers from my flat. Fuck me talk about small team fans mentality. I can't really justify the cost of watching town week in week out, and as I'm saving for my holiday probably won't get down to the County Ground before October. That said, I probably do more miles than most to watch the Town.... Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: PocketScience on Saturday, August 20, 2011, 17:42:23 If I was in your position I wouldn't have bought a new bed and made sure I could make this game!
Title: Re: Oxford Match Televised Post by: wheretherealredsare on Sunday, August 21, 2011, 11:22:57 Should have bought a hammock. :)
