Post by: Costanza on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 09:50:49 He is a bit too daytime telly for my liking, but tends to know his onions about stuff outside the prem to be fair to him. Is his job though I guess I agree with this. His presenting tends to drift dangerously towards that of This Morning and Newsround. An unfortunate trait of the BBC's coverage of the Football League. Title: Re: Paolo Di Canio on Football Focus Today. Post by: mrverve on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 10:37:45 Clem is one of those people who wouldn't look right with hair.
Title: Re: Paolo Di Canio on Football Focus Today. Post by: oxford_fan on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 11:59:26 He talks a lot of sense this Di Canio fellow. If he can transfer his wisdom to football management then he could be pretty good at it, as much as it begrudges me to say it; him being your manager. If it goes well then he won't hang around long at the County Ground. One season?
Title: Re: Paolo Di Canio on Football Focus Today. Post by: Costanza on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 12:03:23 One season is longer than I immediately thought when he was initially appointed.
His mindset towards Swindon appears to be different in the sense that I don't think he will leave us on a whim... West Ham aside. Title: Re: Paolo Di Canio on Football Focus Today. Post by: tans on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 12:04:26 Yeah i dont think he would fuck off at the first opportunity
Title: Re: Paolo Di Canio on Football Focus Today. Post by: Muffin Man on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 12:26:22 Yeah i dont think he would fuck off at the first opportunity Nor me, that is unless it was the Hammers job, but thats fairly unlikely IMO as I think they will go for a more experienced manager again if they get rid of Big Sam. Title: Re: Paolo Di Canio on Football Focus Today. Post by: Barry Scott on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 12:30:57 I agree. I've said before that he has appears to have very strong values and puts them at the forefront of who he is as a person. He seems to be a man of his word and with all his talk of loyalty and family and what not, he'll only leave if out of contract or sacked. I don't even think he'd leave for West Ham outside of those circumstances.
Although for insurance's sake, I'd be a lot happier knowing the Hammers are winning week in, week out with Big Sam being hailed as some sort of messiah. Then I think you're kidding yourself. He'd be gone in a shot.Allardyce will do the business with West Ham this season though, so I think you're safe for now. I reckon a couple of other, big budget Championship clubs, could twist Di Canio's arm too though. Title: Re: Paolo Di Canio on Football Focus Today. Post by: Arriba on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 12:50:19 Thought it would have been a bit better than it was. Never mind, at least we are in the public eye for positive reasons.

Mike Ashley picking a personality such as Paolo Di Canio? I would recommend that your Geordie pals take a moment to think about that. Title: Re: Paolo Di Canio on Football Focus Today.
