Title: USPGA Post by: DMR on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 12:38:24 What a weekend in prospect - test match, premier league and the golf!
Woods, Westy and Rory e/w for me Title: Re: USPGA Post by: leefer on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 12:41:32 Love Westwood to do it,fancy Glover for a longshot, got a feeling Woods may show a return to best form soon, showed glimpses last week.
My bet if having one would be on Kaymer. Title: Re: USPGA Post by: Arriba on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 12:42:23 Westwood, Rory and Donald for me.
Title: Re: USPGA Post by: london_red on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 13:03:56 Think this is when the yanks start to make a comeback in the majors. Dustin Johnson or Watney for me.
Title: Re: USPGA Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 14:15:54 As LR above, this isn't a european winner for me as the course will be a traditional US target golf setup.
Gone for Mickleson at 25's (good value IMO), Jason Day at the same. Also little fluters on Watney, Kuchar & Toms. McIlroy and Donald being the best 2 iron players by streets would probably relish it. Title: Re: USPGA Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 14:41:50 Lets hope it is target golf. McIlroy and Donald being the best 2 iron players by streets would probably relish it. That is true, Rory has to be in with a very good shout, just not any value in his price for me. I see he has take up full US Tour membership next year, probably a wise choice as his game suits American courses a lot more. Title: Re: USPGA Post by: Arriba on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 15:16:59 Jason Day is a good shout. Always seems to be there or thereabouts come the shake up.

Always seems to be there or thereabouts come the shake up. Each way maybe. Still has zero wins in the states. Title: Re: USPGA Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 20:48:39 Each way maybe. Still has zero wins in the states. That's the only way to bet on golf. Nobody should have ever bet on a golfer to win (bar Tiger in the early to mid 00's when he was barely odds against.) Title: Re: USPGA Post by: Abrahammer on Thursday, August 11, 2011, 15:54:37 Tiger is having a mare, +4 after 11
Title: Re: USPGA Post by: leefer on Thursday, August 11, 2011, 19:12:24 Finished plus 7....looks like Rory is having to pull out, damaged his wrist.
Good news for the bookies. Title: Re: USPGA Post by: Arriba on Thursday, August 11, 2011, 21:03:00 hope stricker stays where he is. i had abit of him 28/1 e/w
Title: Re: USPGA Post by: Arriba on Friday, August 12, 2011, 20:57:20 Woods is in free fall. Reckon i could beat him at the moment
Title: Re: USPGA Post by: chalkies_shorts on Friday, August 12, 2011, 22:22:34 Woods is in free fall. Reckon i could beat him at the moment So you can have all the talent in the word but still play like a cunt. He's the classic case of getting the emotional side of things right. Title: Re: USPGA Post by: janaage on Friday, August 12, 2011, 22:37:31 Tiger Woods is a knobjockey, awful winner, even worse loser. I'm afraid I am one (of the many I'd imagine) people that is happy to see Woods suffer a little on the course. He comes across as an arrogant little shit and seeing his shots end up in water is brilliant.
On talent alone he'd be a legend, but in my eyes to be a true legend it's more than the talent you possess. Title: Re: USPGA Post by: Barnard on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 07:51:32 Agree pretty much Janaage. I will be very dissapointed if he ever beats Nicklaus' major trophy haul.
