Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: LJ9 on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 20:17:43 Cheltenham getting smashed.
Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Reg Smeeton on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 20:21:54 Cheltenham getting smashed. Let's hope their poor form carries on into the weekend... Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Costanza on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 20:23:09 Cheltenham getting smashed. Our record against Cheltenham is so lousy it's hard to feel overly confident :hmmm: Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: LJ9 on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 20:24:39 Our record against Cheltenham is so lousy it's hard to feel overly confident :hmmm: Wasn't it the same with Crewe?? Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Costanza on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 20:25:58 Wasn't it the same with Crewe?? For me it wasn't. Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Nomoreheroes on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 20:29:00 Crewe drawing away at Preston - Does that show that Sat's result was a good one? Or can we not read anything into this competition?
Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Reg Smeeton on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 20:34:36 Wasn't it the same with Crewe?? Cheltenham have fitted into the recent horrible pattern that we've developed of pitching up at essentially non league grounds grounds....with big support and then either losing or scraping an occasional shitty draw. Last season it was the turn of Dagenham and Redbridge. Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: jonny72 on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 20:35:50 Austin has scored again. Hope he keeps it up, provided we've got a decent sell on clause.

Burton have got it back to ET though. Good wins for Shrews, Macc, Barnet and Cobblers. Not sure it means much mind Cobblers won at Anfield last season and hardly won a game afterwards. Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Langers on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 21:11:45 Went to the Plymouth V Millwall game tonight, Plymouth put out a very young team, but they played some great football and were very unlucky to lose, just lacked a bit in the final third. Millwall were shite, won the game with one big hoof and offered nothing else.
Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Batch on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 21:13:34 Ashley Grimes scored for Rochdale. Remember him?

After all's said and done, Charlie Austin is absolute class and will score goals where ever he goes. I honestly think he'll end up Premier League. Even outside chance for an England squad call up one day. You never know. I honestly think he'll end up Premier League. Even outside chance for an England squad call up one day. You never know. Depends on his attitude though. Rumours of his off field activities and the fact he looks like he's been on the pies don't go in his favour. Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: janaage on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 21:31:55 On the pies, on some other bloke's mrs and he's still banging them in (the goals that is).
Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Batch on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 21:39:24 Notts Forest eventually put Nottm County out on pens, all after Forest scored a 120+3 equaliser and Lee Hughes missed a pen that would have put County through. Sounds eventful.
Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Samdy Gray on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 21:44:34 I see what you did there.

Right now DV is pulling his hair out. Mwhahahaha. I still hope for nothing but misery for Lee Hughes. Me too. For the obvious non-footballing reasons. Also, Sheehan plays for County. He was the pinnicle of halfassedness last season. Double bonus. Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: SuggWillSugg MBE on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, 22:05:44 Also, Sheehan plays for County. He was the pinnicle of halfassedness last season. Double bonus. He took a pen in the shootout, according to SSN it was perfect.. Bastard. Or my TV aspect ration was on stretch. Or ... Title: Re: Tonight's games Post by: Dozno9 on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, 06:47:05 Ben Tozer scored for Northampton, I assume this was our Ben Tozer?
