Finally! Tomorrow the long wait is over. The new season is here. The new era. Paolo Di Canio's Red and White Army!

Gone is all the whiners, all the players that underperformed last season. Gone is Danny Wilson, gone is Paul Fekkin' Hart - thank God!

Paolo Di Canio and his three Italian musketeers are in. Swindon Town is more attractive, yet they were relegated last term. The football media will probably look forward to the game tomorrow against Crewe, and so will every Swindon fan - even the ones that unfortunatly live in Norway, and cannot go to games as much as they'd love to.

I would love to be at the game tomorrow. Instead I will be home listening to the match. My missus will be out on a bridal shower for her best friend, so I will be home with my 1 1/2 year old daughter. I will dress her in her best Swindon Town body and she will drink her milk from her Swindon Town cup.

That's the closest I will be the County Ground tomorrow. Even if I miss out on the STFC World radio broadcast (which of course not will be close to the interest of my lil' girl.... yet!), I will follow the game through either TEF, livescores or tele-text.

I will look forward to blog about the game on HEIASWINDON and I wish you all a great game tomorrow!

Sing your heart out for Swindon Town FC and have some pints for a norwegian die hard Swindon fan who envy all of you that can take a walk to the stadium and suck up the first day of the season atmosphere!

I've just had a right shite last few hours but NR's postjust helped me crack a big smile, Tacksamycket NR :)

Now I'm in two minds whether to go to this or actually attend the match!  Sod it I'll go to the next one you only get One opening game of the season!

Bridal shower sounds like a hen party, by the way. For all I know they are way into the bukkake already :-P

Didnt make the gluepot, but did do the Dickens bar at Paddington, the queens tap (twice) the tap and barrel and the legends, + the beer carriage both ways, the Mash tun at Victoria, and O'neills near home, phew better have a beer to wind down :)

There were some Norwegian West Ham fans in the Tap and Barrell after the game.
