The bloke is insane and im surprised he hasnt had a heart attack yet It is a good watch. How he is still alive and not about 20 stone, I don't know. Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: Ginginho on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 10:26:35 He's my hero.
I reckon I could take on some of those challenges, perhaps not the insanely hot ones, but the large ones. Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: slinky on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 11:37:40 It is a good watch. With all the mega hot challenges he does I bet he suffers from some serious ring sting! :puke:
Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: Abrahammer on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 12:57:20 I read an interview with him about he manages to not become a chubber while filming. Bascially he is an exercise freak and eats a very heathly diet to prevent him putting on weight while filming.
Love the program and the nearly all of the food looks bloody delicious. Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: Compo on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 13:45:50 Richman rocks....
Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: Batch on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 15:16:42 Great program this. Some of those challenges are insane.
Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: slinky on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 16:49:35 Great program this. Some of those challenges are insane. Why don't we start them at the county ground before games? Could have a wall of fame. Things like eating 10 pies in 10 minutes? Come to think of it this would probably be more entertaining than the current half time entertainment so it could replace that? Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: tans on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 16:58:11 Eating an aids ridden CG burger is a challenge in itself....
Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: slinky on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 17:15:17 Eating an aids ridden CG burger is a challenge in itself.... So we will put you down for the first challenge? :puke: Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: DMR on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 17:31:54 He needs to get to Pompey http://www.bigerniesdiner.com/Ernie%27s-Challenge.php
I've had 2 stabs at it full of confidence and not been able to do it Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: slinky on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 17:45:22 It never looks that big when you start it. How much does it cost if you fail?
Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: sonicyouth on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 17:56:13 He needs to get to Pompey http://www.bigerniesdiner.com/Ernie%27s-Challenge.php I could manage that if it wasn't for the milkshake and desert. Too sandy for my tastes.I've had 2 stabs at it full of confidence and not been able to do it Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: Ginginho on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 18:03:31 I'd do that a piece of piss.
I took this down in Paignton last year. Full rack of ribs, two chicken breasts, chilli king prawns in breadcrumbs and a fuckload of curly fries. Yeah. Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: tans on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 18:06:04 Yeah but your phil mitchell and a drug addict
Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: slinky on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 18:16:13 Yeah but your phil mitchell and a drug addict thats what the munchies will do to you! :D Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: RobertT on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 18:30:59 He did a wings one once, and bailed on the first wing. Having doused a wing in Ghost Chilli Sauce, BBQ'd it and then dipped it in some more, I can have complete sympathy. Took 15 mins of mouth under the tap to stop my tongue and pallate from falling out.
I'm umming about doing the Burrito one in Vegas, at the Nascar Cafe. 6 pound's of tortilla, rice, beans, beef, cheese, gaucomole and sour cream. Think the Sour Cream and cheese mixed together that would be the spolier. Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: Ginginho on Saturday, June 18, 2011, 18:32:48 Ooh, might have to try the Nascar cafe one!

Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: Ralphy on Monday, June 20, 2011, 07:40:10 I love this and watch it all the time.
He walks on a treadmill for up to 2 hours after doing a challenge I read not just to burn off the calories but also because it makes the discomfort of having all that food inside you a little more bearable. Americans are an odd race. Title: Re: Man v Food Post by: Peter Venkman on Monday, June 20, 2011, 11:54:27 I fucking love this programme, found it by accident about 2 years ago, man can that bloke eat!
