Given that its 45 minute drive from here you must be looking at over a week, but 10 or 14 days ?- can anybody that has been recommend how long to go for? (I now await the 'go forever and stay there' comments

Take a day trip to the Channel Islands when you are there if you can-around £30 return which you can easily save on your duty free goods. Some good pubs alomng the front. If you need a good guesthouse try Oaklands Edwardian guesthouse in Glendinning avenue- great place and owners, just behind the station.
