Yep we bid £50k for him apparently under Wilson, but he does have a massive attitude problem and I think he could be trouble in the dressing room and disrupt players.

Has an eye for a goal though.

Who knows, look at Parkin. Brilliant for us, didn't cut it elsewhere (though injury did play a big part).

Regardless, if we are serious about going up then the stats don't look good enough for this to be a player we'd bank a promotion challenge on. Then again, I don't know whether our budget is sufficient for better anyway.

There is nothing to suggest this is the case, but my paranoia makes me hope this isn't PMSL agency pushing players on the club.

Easy to make judgements from the comfort of your laptop. I would rather trust our scouts etc. Looking at our woeful attacking last season he might be exactly what he want.

Indeed, but I'd be encouraged if we do beat off the likes of D and R and capture Marvellous Marvin's signature. He's the sort of thing we need, my fear with di Canio, is that we'll end up with a job lot of Prem kids and Carlos Kickaballs, totally unsuited to a wet Tuesday night in Accrington.

This happens with a lot of our potential signings. Almost all of them get written off by our fans for one reason or another. We have to be realistic here, we are in League 2.

Based upon this statement then Pericard was exactly what we wanted then as his scoring record was similar and his ability was scouted by our own scouts.

This is also 100% true.

The reason Aldershot didn't want him was his Twitter faux pas rather than ability and he was supposedly on decent money at Dag & Red which would explain why he went there.

I am just a bit irritated with thisismongs sounding disgusted. We are a Division 4 side like it or not. He's done well at that level. Etc.

All striker's qualities really and likely to do a job if motivated

Not keen on Morgan personally...and I dont buy the "not bad on a free" argument either when you see the other talent available on free's at the moment. 

Maybe, just maybe, if we got Morgan in, Donaldson may also come as they are good friends?

Really didn't rate Fallon when he was here the first time, a couple of terrible seasons and then a reasonable half a season in a shit team that got relegated.

I was going to say, I don't remember nochee being that tall. But then again I was rather inebriated when we were introduced.

I think he improved a lot after he left Swindon. Became tee total and more focused.

For whatever reason in his first 18 months at Swindon we would always start hoofball when he came on. As soon as he became our main man up front things changed and he proved he could play football.

Same as ever with older players though, youve got to look solely at their performances over the last 6 months.

Sky Sports attatched our name to Marvin Morgan and the Advertiser has desperately decided to run with it. Crickey, they even got some of the most non-committal quotes going. Well done Adver, bless them.

Scored a blinder against us but doesn't have a good goalscoring record. We've been linked too, but I don't think its likely. We're waiting to hear back from Clayton Donaldson.
