I was at that game as well. I think the score may have been 5-3 though. (would not bet against 5-2).

Alan Buckley played for them I believe and they also scored from a penalty.

End of the season game if I am not mistaken and Anderson was being labelled a poor Man's George Best. On hos day a great player but went missing many games.

Season 75-76 ?(or 74 -75) ?

It was in 1976 the first season I started going all the time 5-1 and I was amazed by how fast and good Anderson was (I was young!) Northern Irish, ex Man Utd...the hair he had the lot!

And Alan Buckley nearly always scored against us back then and IIRC scored loads and loads of penalties about a quarter of his 200 league goals.

An interesting fact of Trevor Anderson is that he scored with his last ever touch of the ball in International football scoring for Norn Iron against Denmark in 1978.

He also scored the goal at Goodison that nearly won us the replay after that 2-2 draw.
