He's a midfielder and was expected to be a star of the future when we payed Liverpool 225,000 for him in 2001-2.But then 5 games into the next season(2002-3) he was taken off against Huddersfield and after 12 months out injured,he came back a different player! He works hard and is a good tackler but wasn't good enough to be kept on at Tranmere in the end and didn't make a single appearance last season and was farmed out on loan to Chester and Macclesfield but thats about it! I wish him well! Could be a decent replacement for Hewlett?
