Title: Fundraising for Hop Skip & Jump - 30 Apr 11
Post by: pumbaa on Monday, April 18, 2011, 14:33:33
http://www.hopskipandjumpswindon.org/

Advanced warning notification that I will be stalking you lot with a collection bucket prior to and during the game with Oldham on 30th April to support this worthy cause. Worse news, so will my wife  :D

So please don't spend all your money in the pub/chippy beforehand and give generously on the day. Thank you.

With the exception of the tail, I do. Although the smell is far more noticeable....

Bumpity Bump. Reminder to all you fantastically generous fans to save your change on the day for this worthy cause.

And I'll be hunting down those who purposely aren't attending for suitable donations.....

Not entirely sure yet, outside the ground from around 1400, in one of the stands just before KO I think. Going to try and get in the Merlin around 1300 though.

Haha, yes you did, thanks for the donation. No idea how much was raised tbh, although my 'tin' was by far the heaviest...... :D

No....

Thank you to all who contributed yesterday, it is very much appreciated.

I was going to have a rant about all the people who completely ignored me, but frankly that's sour grapes and i hope you all feel great about yourselves for not contributing.....nice way to treat a fellow fan   :(

To be fair, I was all over the place, down behind the DR, outside the shop, trawling the CGH. Should have invaded Legends too, forgot about that until I was walking to my seat....doh!

Were you the bastard who got me to put hand in my pocket at the door leading to the garden?

Went past you or someone else with you, feeling distinctly like a terrible person as I genuinely didn't take any money (I've stopped taking any cash to Football so I don't buy food) but will chuck some money in online. Do you have a specific thing on Justgiving or anything or shall I just go on the HS&J website?

Fair enough Nemo.

There is a Justgiving link on this page - http://www.hopskipandjumpswindon.org/

Alternatively you could donate via the link the club will publicise later in the week for the third leg of the cycle ride to Tranmere.

Final leg of the club's cycle ride- all the way to Tranmere is a serious trek, fair play to them!

I've chucked a fiver in on this link Pumbaa, still a long way short of the target so hopefully some other TEFers can help out:

Good man, thanks very much.

Hopefully you'll shame a few others into donating something too.
