  FEW enjoy the nerves involved when needing a result on the final day of the season, but boss Paul Hart will be more than happy if that ends up being the case for Swindon, writes GARY ROSE.

Unless Plymouth decide not to play the rest of the season, I think we all know the answer to that. Sorry to deprive you of your excitement.

If we do manage bottom spot (and I'd like to hear Hart targetting this now...let's do this relegation thing properly, please) then we would have finished bottom of Divisions One, Two and Three in the 20 odd years I've been watching.  Which is a mightily impressive achievement.

Let's hope we don't go for the full set any time soon.

A point

While we're at it, it would be good if we could also break the record of the most matches played without a win, or maybe least matches won in a season? Are we contenders for either of these yet?

This team could live on in fan folklore, to be talked about in hushed tones by future generattions as "The Vincibles". Extremely fucking vincible, in fact.

The only way any of our games are going to be cliff-hangers is if someone decides to lynch our ex-chairman Mr Puffett

Given the opinion of many fans towards a certain Mr. Pericard,  "The Vincibles" is an incredibly apt name.

We are agonisingly only one game away from equaling the all time STFC record there.

I know.  I haven't felt like this since the last game of the 1993/94 season at home to Leeds.  Mid way through the second half, I was still nervous that they wouldn't score a 5th to bring our goals against tally for the season to a nice round 100.

As we all know, it ended happily though.

Scouse-ish. I've got a job and receipts for my electrical goods. (OK, some of them are hand-written and don't bear up to close scrutiny, but the thought's there)

Shouldn't Hart be at the Tranmere game Sat May 7th instead of watching an old Stallone film that day?

 It's a shame Wilson didn't hang about then we could have been Danny's Vincibles.
