cats are ace,but dogs win for me.
i have a staffie cross who has the same coat and markings as yeovils skinny dog.mine is taller and a bit thinner than his though.

Always wanted a Newfoundland but not a dog easily found in China.  Have a  3 month old Alaskan Malamute and a 2 year old Golden retriever.

Cats are pure evil.

I love Rotty's though - used to have one in my old local (Jacob's Ladder) and his head was almost as big as a horse's - fucking enormous but as gentle as anything

I do agree though, the Rotties i've encountered (my uncle who has a farm owns three) have been a total pleasure to be around, and not the slightest hint of aggression

Not my experience...i  have been bitten by one,and still have the the puncture mark scars on my leg and know of two children bitten by them....the pain when it bit me was incredible,the pressure of its jaws and i thought my leg was broken.
Probably the reason i dont like dogs...Rotties can be very menacing....not there fault of course.

Never seen or heard of them before.  A lot of the Tibetan dogs are now illegal to own in China due to the fact that people spread numerous rumours about them eating babies and such forth.  Saying that people here run from my golden retriever (soft as hell) because they think he will tear their leg off. 

I've lost my cable for my phone which is annoying cos I want to show off my dog.

Lovely temperament, I'm more likely to bite kids than she was.

She was once limping, I thought she hurt her foot. She was limping for days so we took her to the vet.

It turns out there was nowt wrong with her. She was just attention seeking, because the Mrs. and I weren't paying as much attention to her as usual because of work commitments.

If you want a new four legged family member, get a shar-pei.

his fur on his ears is so soft and smooth to the touch.different to the rest of him.
my kids say it's the best feature of his and i can't disagree.

It was an act of desperation when the blood started dripping - there's even a hole cut out the back for her tail. Every time I see that photo now it makes me laugh.
