Title: Re: Nani Post by: reeves4england on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 14:34:32 What happened? I saw he got subbed off...
Title: Re: Nani Post by: tans on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 14:35:51 Yeah he was crying
Fell over like a sack of shit when gerrard pushed him Title: Re: Nani Post by: Chubbs on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 14:38:08 got taken out, got right up to give a bit of mouth and then all of a sudden collapsed like a sack of shit.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 14:38:43 I dislike Liverpool and their over-rated support, crowned by that bloody awful 'you'll never walk along' song - yes what an, atmosphere you have to play some song loud over the tannoy.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Freddies Ferret on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 14:48:54 bad challenge by carragher though
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Saxondale on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 14:49:14 I dislike united and there perpetual whinging players, plastic pseudo fans and completly hypocritical players and managers who moan about bad refereeing whilst getting the majority of decisions made i their favour.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: tans on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 14:58:24 3-0 hhahahahaha
Title: Re: Nani Post by: cib on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 15:12:45 I dislike all premier league sides and there perpetual whinging players, plastic pseudo fans and completly hypocritical players and managers who moan about bad refereeing whilst getting the majority of decisions made i their favour. A lot of people on here moan about the Premier League, but I imagine there are a fair few closet Liverpool fans due to the 70/80s and United fans from the 90s. Semi-pseudo. Title: Re: Nani Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 15:49:04 Title race is wide open now. Can't count Chelsea out just yet and Arsenal are looking good.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: leefer on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 17:03:48 Yeah...so good they drew 0-0 with Sunderland yesterday....and beaten by lowly Birmingham last week.
Chelsea are 12 points adrift. Man Utd will piss the lge. Title: Re: Nani Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 17:17:44 Yeah...so good they drew 0-0 with Sunderland yesterday....and beaten by lowly Birmingham last week. Chelsea are 12 points adrift. Man Utd will piss the lge. I meant league position. Now 3 points off Manure with a game in hand. They have a lot of injuries to be fair to them. Probably why they drew a blank against Sunderland. Title: Re: Nani Post by: Arriba on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 17:34:06 i think utd will win it due to a bigger squad of quality, but it's by no means going to be won at a canter.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Dr Pierre Chang on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 17:37:54 Very poor standard of the top flight this season, the worst United have been for seasons yet they are still top. I can't understand how Arsenal are up there, a piss poor defence and without Van Persie they have two carthorses upfront.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: tans on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 17:49:49 Cracking game at molineux
Title: Re: Nani Post by: london_red on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 17:51:56 Just going to say the same. Wolves unlucky not to be winning this.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Arriba on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 17:52:22 it's a cracking game.
i dont think the prem has got worse.i just think other teams have closed the gap on the so called big clubs. the prem is better for it Title: Re: Nani Post by: london_red on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 17:54:21 it's a cracking game. i dont think the prem has got worse.i just think other teams have closed the gap on the so called big clubs. the prem is better for it Indeed. Probably going to have the worst champions in a decade - both in terms of points and quality - yet been a very watchable season, plenty of good matches. Title: Re: Nani Post by: Benzel on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 18:05:43 That Carra tackle was pretty heinous. Nani did give me a laugh though.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Saxondale on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 19:30:52 I see poor ferguson has declined to let anyone speak to the press whatsoever. No one. Not even to MUTV. Poor misunderstood little bunny being picked on by the big nasty media.
Twat. Title: Re: Nani Post by: Arriba on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 19:33:09 fergie has a point.
when he's honest about how he sees something he then gets charged with stupid offences. Title: Re: Nani Post by: Summerof69 on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 19:44:20 Fergie is a hypocrite. Rooney should've got suspended for his slap, yet he complained about decisions that went against Utd at Chelski. How many dodgy pens have they had a Old Trafford over the years.
I agree that Carragher tackle was poor, and on another day he might have seen red, but Nani didn't help himself my his antics by rolling around and then complaining about the challenge. Title: Re: Nani Post by: tans on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 19:52:25 Carragher shouldve gone a bit higher
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Batch on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 20:20:28 To be fair to Nani it does look as though it may sting in the morning
http://www.epltalk.com/nanis-horrific-injury-from-jamie-carraghers-tackle-photos-29893 Title: Re: Nani Post by: Spencer_White on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 20:49:01 It was a clear red card. Horrendous tackle.
What the fuck was Nani doing getting up to show the ref? Silly boy. Nani has been by far Uniteds most skillful and creative player this season. The Premier League works because we have English refs, but foreign talent. Where in Spain Nani would happily spend 90% of his time on the deck, in England he has to get up and get on with it. But tackles like Carraghers will only put an end to our high tempo game. Tell you what though, injuries like these are happening because of the lighter balls. In the past that ball would have been on the deck and Carragher would not have been going in studs up half way up the shin on the standing leg. Title: Re: Nani Post by: Benzel on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 20:56:18 It'd help if players wore shin pads that did their job too.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Whits on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 21:55:31 Nani are you ok ?
Nani are you ok ? are you ok Nani ? You've been hit by. You've been struck by. Jamie Carragher Title: Re: Nani Post by: Benzel on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 21:56:32 Love it.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Lumps on Sunday, March 6, 2011, 22:27:38 Should have had fucking shin pads on them shouldn't he. Twat.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Monday, March 7, 2011, 09:20:41 Another nail in the coffin for Football as a mans game (get up & get on with it you big girls blouse)
That said it wasn't a good tackle from Carragher, and wouldn't have looked out of place in the Leeds/Chelsea FA Cup final. Title: Re: Nani Post by: mrverve on Monday, March 7, 2011, 09:36:46 The shin pads would have protected him from the gash in his leg but even with shin pads he could have had his leg snapped in half. Bad tackle.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: nevillew on Monday, March 7, 2011, 13:05:45 i think utd will win it due to a bigger squad of quality, but it's by no means going to be won at a canter. Or a Canterna ? Title: Re: Nani Post by: blah blah on Monday, March 7, 2011, 16:18:59 Isn't it illegal NOT to wear shin pads ? I thought it was a required piece of safety equipment in all FA controlled games as well as training sessions ?
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Reeeeeves on Monday, March 7, 2011, 16:34:30 Didn't he remove his shinpad? Might be wrong though, stupid if he didn't actually wear any.
Title: Re: Nani Post by: Arriba on Monday, March 7, 2011, 16:39:48 the tackle went over his shin pad.he then removed it when he was showing the ref.
if fergie or phelan had done an interview, they obviously would have slated the ref,and rightly so.they would then be charged with something so completely understand why he or none of his staff were interviewed. Title: Re: Nani Post by: Saxondale on Monday, March 7, 2011, 16:47:46 If the referee awarded a free kick in the opponents half that Fergie didnt agree with he would whinge. And yet poor decisions in his favour are never mentioned or if they are mentioned its along the lines of, oh it evens itself out over the season. The man is a massive hypocrite.
Mind you that can be said for most football managers. Title: Re: Nani Post by: Arriba on Monday, March 7, 2011, 16:51:40 publicly slating your own players would be stupid man management.
redknapp slating darren bent springs to mind. of course it is hypocritical, but perfectly understandable Title: Re: Nani Post by: Saxondale on Monday, March 7, 2011, 17:18:34 I have a low hypocrisy tolerance. He doesn't need to slate players, just say 'yeah perhaps the ref did get it wrong and we were lucky'.
