Now we have a new manager which players do you want out this summer ? Now for me a new keeper is a must so i want Lucas gone as I'm fed up of his lack of concentration where he concedes from 30 odd yards.

New Gk, CB, RB, CM, RM and ST - not too much to ask for!!!

Realistically, over the course of the summer and if we stay up I'd like to see us lose Smith, Rose, Frampton, JFL, Amankwaah, O'Brien, Pericard and Dossevi.

I'd also lose one of Timlin and Prutton. I think Tims is better value for money.

Here's an idea - let's get behind all of them until we've secured safety and leave the bloodletting until we at least know which league we'll be in.

Well Wilson's gone so that's step one done, but I think I'd prefer us to lose tomorrow if it meant we were more likely to git rid of Lucas, Smith, Prutton, Rose, Frampton, O'Brien, Timlin, Dossevi, Pericard and Benyon.

Regardless of whether we stay up or not, I'd happilly see the back of all of them bar the youngsters. There's none of them that I warm to and none of them that can't be replaced easily enough. We need a complete rebuild.

I think all the others have something offer. Just need the manager to get it out of them. Like last season unlike this season.

And even if you (not you delta, people generally) do think it's a good idea to go through the squad marking individuals out for weeding out while we're in a relegation battle, it's a fairly daft question until you know what league we're in. There's plenty who you might feel have shown they can't cut it in League One would do a decent job in League Two; conversely, players who look decent at this level can just get hammered out in the league below.

Yeah, if I answer seriously then it really does depend on where we stand in the summer, who's contracts are coming up, if anybody is interested in any of our contracted players, any relegation clauses we don't know about, and what potential signings we've been tracking are available.

Didn't Lucas sign a new contract a few weeks ago? So he's likely to be here. I can't remember the rest of the squad off the top of my head.

I'll wait till end of season till i make my opinions of who i like to see go. Only reason is you never know Paul hart could actually get them playing and also agree with Paul as well we need to be positive at this time and get behind the team.

Your challenge is to now use this word at least 5 times during todays game - this will only work best in conversation with a fellow fan at the game, it won't work if you're sat at home on your own, engaged in a wankathon in front of Gillette Soccer Saturday - that would be just weird.

I would keep Dougie but not a chance he will want to play L2 football. He was the best midfielder in the league last season and I reckon he will be off. Brighton maybe?

No one else I really want to keep, the likes of Ritchie and Benyon would do a job in League 2 I expect as they have done in the past. Cuthbert, Caddis and Misun also worth keeping at the back.

Would hold onto Timlin and Ferry, get rid of Prutton and sadly JPM after his poor season.

I think Sheehan will be off, he thought he was too good for League 1 let alone League 2.

Hart should go in the summer, but the way he is going on about 'building something' here makes me think he may be around for longer than most fans think. I'm not sure who I would prefer out of him and Trollope. Hopefully neither.

Trollope would be on par with Malpas in the eyes of many fans, we need an exciting appointment like a Wise / Poyet type to give the whole place a lift in the summer because if we start badly next season I really fear what could happen next and before anybody says dont be over dramatic ask Pox fans if they thought it would ever happen to them.

Think I would keep Lucas, Caddis, Flint, Sheehan, Ferry, Douglas, Ritchie, Benyon definitely. Probably Timlin as well (did well at Sarfend in L2 earlier in the season) and Misun (could be amazing who knows but worth a shot in either case)

Zero chance of keeping some of those (Dougie at least) if/when we go down though I'd imagine.

We can safely assume that there are players in our squad with relegation release clauses.

My point is that we may not have too much say as to who is here next season.

some of the ones we mightn't care about staying will still be under contract so we'll be stuck with them.
seems to be a fair bit of concensus about the ones that we'd keep.
I'd want to keep Cuthbert, Douglas, Caddis, Ferry, Amankwaah, Flint, Sheehan and Benyon.
A few others would certainly be good enough in L2 but if we're to bounce back we will definitely need to bring in a powerful striker, a creative midfielder and a solid Greer-type at the back; a more consistent keeper would be good too.

With the wage cap and the reduced revenue I think in L2 the youngsters would have more of a part to play. Kennedy and Thompson would be second choice full-backs, Evans fourth CB and the two GKs would be enough cover unless Lucas gets a long-term injury, in which case a loan signing would be required.

There's a wage cap in League 2 - 60% of turnover. There was last time we were down there but fortunately(?) our accounts were so massively late (and even if they had been available a complete work of fiction) that no-one could tell whether we were within it or not.
