Title: Dossevi Post by: hanneyred on Monday, February 21, 2011, 18:38:54 I just saw the goal from Saturday, and I was not suprised it came through Dossevi giving a standard half hearted attempt to win the ball on the half way line. (Yes i know he was 'injured' but who cares)
This got me thinking.... Does any stato out there know, or can they be arsed to work out the following- 1. How many goals we have scored when he has been on the pitch? 2. How many goals we have let in when he has been on the pitch? Apart from that, I just wanted to say he is Fucking useless. thanks Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: DV on Monday, February 21, 2011, 18:39:57 You're blaming Dossevi for their guy putting a rocket in the top corner from 30 yards
Behave. Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Monday, February 21, 2011, 18:40:37 Not his fault BUT he did lose the ball leading up to that.
Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: hanneyred on Monday, February 21, 2011, 18:42:48 Not at all, never said that, it was a wonder goal, just said it came from that!
Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: Sippo on Monday, February 21, 2011, 18:44:16 I'm fed up of people trying to find a scapegoat all the time. It's a team game. You could argue that the midfield or centre backs should've stopped it.
Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: DV on Monday, February 21, 2011, 18:44:38 Not his fault BUT he did lose the ball leading up to that. Indeed, the midfield were also no where to be seen and put no pressure on him what so ever. Smith would have saved it! Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: sonicyouth on Monday, February 21, 2011, 18:59:21 The fans in the Town End should have collectively exhaled to create a breeze that would have diverted the ball just wide.
Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: Reg Smeeton on Monday, February 21, 2011, 19:01:18 The fans in the Town End should have collectively exhaled to create a breeze that would have diverted the ball just wide. Or synchronised farting in the ball's general direction. Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: axs on Monday, February 21, 2011, 19:01:38 One farted but he was facing the wrong way.
Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: Reg Smeeton on Monday, February 21, 2011, 19:03:21 One farted but he was facing the wrong way. Might have been the reason for localised turbulence causing the ball to dip and swerve. Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: axs on Monday, February 21, 2011, 19:21:59 It certainly put me off, might have done the same for Lucas.
Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Monday, February 21, 2011, 20:11:35 Indeed, the midfield were also no where to be seen and put no pressure on him what so ever. Smith would have saved it! :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick: Although, to be fair the old farts that sit behind us did try to blame Lucas for letting it in Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: DV on Monday, February 21, 2011, 20:13:13 Completely out of position, well off his line.
Smith would have saved it. Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Monday, February 21, 2011, 20:44:59 Completely out of position, well off his line. Smith would have saved it. I thought he could have done better as well. Top strike though to be fair. Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: LucienSanchez on Monday, February 21, 2011, 20:50:09 Only just seen it... i wouldn't blame Lucas, but if Smith had been in goal i imagine there would have been more than just a slight grumble from some sections of the ground...
Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: NorwayRed on Monday, February 21, 2011, 20:55:12 Didn't he sign a 2 1/2 years contract as well? I guess we're stuck with him for another 2 years or so then
Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: sonicyouth on Monday, February 21, 2011, 20:57:27 No, he's only on a year long deal
Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: NorwayRed on Monday, February 21, 2011, 21:30:16 No, he's only on a year long deal Thank God... I had a nightmare that he was signed for 2 1/2 years... Title: Re: Dossevi Post by: RedRag on Monday, February 21, 2011, 21:34:26 not suprised it came through Dossevi giving a standard half hearted attempt to win the ball on the half way line. (Yes i know he was 'injured' but who cares) To be fair, Dossevi was no more a striker than Eric Sabin the new Thierry Henri. He's an average footballer with some pace and skill who could perhaps have performed behind Paynter and Austin last season I'd say his confidence is shot to pieces and we won't be seeing anything much from him now but I think highlighting half hearted attempts from injured players is a little "boo boy" |
