I am trying again with the aforementioned site.  I'm not really sure how to go about picking people to follow, or how to find them and identify the real accounts from the fake ones.  Currently I am following Barack Obama, Simon Mayo, Stephen Fry (obviously) and Simon Ferry, who is clearly insane.

Any tips?

Depends what you are looking to read about, and how much tweeting you can bear. Hence me not following Fry and his two million tweets a day.

Look at who people you like follow and follow their friends too.   

I tend to follow football jornos for news, comedians for gags and a few people from here because, well, misery loves company.

Surprisingly 50 cent is supposed to be quite good. A friend follows him and told me a story, which shows that anyone can make a few quid if they'll work at it, where he went around knocking on his neighbours' doors, offering to clear snow from their driveways at $100 a time and made $3500 in a day! That's enterprise for you.

Twitter has been fucked all night, they've banned ubertwitter which was the best twitter client for a blackberry
