But why is it that someone on a plane 4 stone heavier than me gets the same baggage allowance :D
After all i am around 11 and a half stone............if someone is 18 stone....then my luggage should be free...surely :nod:

Hoping to go away in May.............an extra 100 odd quid for two suitcases....not big ones......fuck it i am eating takeaways untill i go in May to get me moneys worth :D

£100 excess luggage? Where are you going and what exactly do you want to take with you?

The same applies when you get on the plane and find you only have half a seat cos Mr or Mrs Chunky next to you has taken half your seat due to their rolls of flab.

Well on most of the quotes i have been given the luggage is extra(unless its hand luggage)...so 15 kilos(one suitcase) is quoted at £24 extra each leg of the journey....with two of us thats nearly £100 there and back.

in a posh upper class home counites acent: I'm not against your type of poeple I just think they should be moved on or perhaps given a home somwhere? Do they still run fat camps?

Its as bad on trains, twice I have been down to London in last 3 weeks and for the 2 hours 20 mins on the train had about 1/3 or my seat due to the scale of my neighbour!

Dunno what they are going to do with trains - they cannot make them any wider!

I guy I used to work with from the states used to have to buy 2 seats because of his size and often had the FlyLo treatment of being given 2 seats three rows apart...

come back from corfu 17kg in luggage overweight had to pay £10 per kg was over on the way to corfu aswell but they never charged us.  :badmood:

Unless you're going long haul they all charge it as extra now.  A cheap flight soon doubles by the time you've added luggage costs and poxy taxes.  Complete rip off.
