Title: Where's Pericard? Post by: Nomoreheroes on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 07:31:36 Seems like he has been off the scene for ages. Take it he's injured and not frozen out? If so, what injury does he have?

If so, what injury does he have? Wounded pride I'd imagine....don't think we'll see him in red again. Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: Frigby Daser on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 08:03:23 Info on injuries generally has dropped off. We didn't know about Benyon until the interview.
Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: Ginginho on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 08:28:30 I thought this was going to be a game.

Post by: pauld on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 09:18:44 Haha good one Ginginho - my thought too on reading the thread title, but nice one finding the pic to go with it. Pretty sure that's SummerOf69 bottom right!

Post by: Saxondale on Thursday, February 10, 2011, 20:29:14 Im sure I read an adver tweet saying he is in contention for saturday and Benyons hamstring is better and hes back in training.

He can't be any worse than Dossevi Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Friday, February 11, 2011, 08:52:05 I'd rather have Pericard over Dossevi any day.
Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: flammableBen on Friday, February 11, 2011, 08:59:53 I'd rather eat a bowl of Dale Winton's post anal poojizz than have my bollocks slashed up by an angry midget. But that's the way I roll.

Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: Power to people on Friday, February 11, 2011, 10:26:52 I'd rather pericard be available and able to cover than Dossevi at least he knows where the net is and how to keep onside
Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: Samdy Gray on Friday, February 11, 2011, 10:29:59 It's funny how people absolutely slated Pericard, yet with He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named gone and Dossevi not amongst the goals, they want him straight back in the team.
Ho-hum. Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: Doctor Bamber on Friday, February 11, 2011, 10:53:16 personally I would rather have my eyes poked out with a snooker cue that see Pericard back on the pitch - however bad it gets. The one thing we do not need now is a lazy striker not prepared to chase everything. Not that any of us know much about Obika, he has to be given the chance ahead of Pericard and Dossevi

Ho-hum. its a case of playing the best available.at the moment that includes pericard Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: london_red on Friday, February 11, 2011, 11:53:13 At the end of the day we've got two new strikers who haven't had a chance to prove themselves yet. Benyon has played one game, Obika's had 43 minutes.
Personally I'm a Pericard fan (or at least think the abuse and blame he gets is outrageous) but its obviously not worked for him this season. Maybe one of the new boys will prove to be the sort of partner he needs, maybe not. At least we've got a few options now rather than playing wingers up front. Hopefully DW will have had a look at them in training and decide which 2 will work best together and give them a few games to show it. Know its late in the season for that and we need production from the front men immediately, but that's the way to go IMHO. Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: carbonwhite on Friday, February 11, 2011, 15:43:06 Atleast were have options off the bench this weekend. Dw has said he wants a big guy to partner obika to take the knocks and pericard is the best option for that if hes fit.
Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: lambourn red on Friday, February 11, 2011, 16:00:30 I really think Pericard is what we have been missing since ****** ****** left, someone to hold the ball up and let the midfield catch up with play which Dosser simply can not do even though he puts more effort in than Pericard. At least we now have options if we fall behind and can at least go 3 up front in times of need
Title: Re: Where's Pericard? Post by: Dr Pierre Chang on Friday, February 11, 2011, 16:14:41 He's going to turn into a goal machine on his return.
Every time he scores this should be played over the tannoy at the County Ground: http://gobarbra.com/hit/new-cf71c10e4d6d37fc70b2eb999decd195 Title: Re: Where's Pericard?
