For me they had a golden period, probably peaking in Everything Must Go, but rapidly became more and more bland. Not seen them live though. In my opinion that is totally wrong-their subsequent albums have all been better than the bland "EMG",particularly the Ritchie Edwards penned"Journal For Plague Lovers"-"bland" it is definitely not.And they are definitely brilliant live still.
