Great to hear both Fitton and DW say after Benyon's signing that there's hopefully more to come in during the loan window. Fair play to them, they have done their best to address the two glaring needs in the side during January. Pleasing that they are immediately talking about the next players to come in as well and don't seem to just be thinking 'Oh well, we've signed a striker now, that should keep them happy for a while'.

Let's hope these new faces and the removal of any unsettling elements that may or may not have existed in the dressing room can give the whole squad a boost and be reflected in starting to turn the results around on the pitch, with any luck starting at Bournemouth this evening.

Fitton said that they had enquired about Danny Ward but Bolton said nothing would be done in the window but the option of the emergency loan was there. If Bolton aren't going to play ball then there is nothing that we can do!

Given our current position, we were always going to get better players on loan than for sale. And why would we take a risk on a big budget player until we know we're in L1 next year?

We're patching up the holes in the short-term, and will buy for a promotion push in the summer!
