Title: New Off Side Rule Post by: Sippo on Wednesday, June 29, 2005, 20:01:46 What a load of bollocks!! First time I've seen it at the confederations cup. The assistant doesn't put his flag up till the player touches the ball even if the player yards off.

So the defenders could stop because the offside guy is offside but another guy could come running on through and pick up the ball....
