The point of all this seems to be for Charlie to play as many games as possible for the Town before departing at the end of the month.

The way he engineered that chance that hit the bar late on last night, out of absolutely nothing, shows that whilst he may be out of form, he is still class - if that had gone in everyone would have been purring about how good he is again. I think Charlie would do well for them, the way they play.

Ormerod would score a barrell in this league. Wages may be an issue but at least we'd replace a good striker with someone who knows where the net is and I suspect would be hungry for football.

I can't see that many scouts being there just for Austin, most teams would have made their minds up by now on him. I bet the majority were there for other players (Jennings) or just there to see if there was any decent talent going to waste/that could be tempted away in the summer.

I suppose some of our players have relegation release clauses, so scouts might just have been looking to see who might be worth a punt if we go down.
