Losing to a 'Tin Pot League' team in the cup (imagine that?), and beating Charlton away a few weeks later.

Probably ran out of jokes about us being a non-league team now that we're back, and doing ok lately? I know you all hate us, the feeling's mutual, but you've missed us haven't you? Admit it. Its been too long since we have met on (and off  ;) the field).

Will be supprised if we hold on to Charlie Austin this month and if we don't he will go in the summer. How's league 2? Enjoying Acrington and Torquay away? I've sure been enjoying Leeds and Charlton away over the past few seasons, not to mention Norwich, Southampton and even Millwall last season, whilst you were enjoying the dizzying heights of Salisbury away!

That really is a serious note.  :-[Games between us are pretty one sided on the field. You've had the Indian sign over us for years. You're not so good at our new ground though!
The non-league experience was, well, an experience. All I'd say is don't EVER drop in to it. Its so easy to think you're too big a club not to drop. We're the first ever club to drop in to the conf after being in the top flight.
Some parts of it were quite enjoyable. All the gounds have terracing, so its been a good laugh going to away games. We were fortunate to go up in May. We were badly out of form, but managed to put 3 games together when it mattered.
Dropping in to the conference has been the making of the club though. The fans are behind the club now more than ever. Some of our attendances are higher than we had in the old Div 2 (championship now).

Been some rumours about him joining you though lately. (JC, not my lad  :( ) He's not good enough, and thats being really honest. His all round play isn't good enough. Fans favourite all the same though.

Not really. Had a few scares at your place once. Not very pleasant when you're about 15yrs old!

He's not though. My lad wrote to him and asked him who his favourite players are. He said Jurgen Klinsmann was his hero as a kid, because he's a Spurs fan. He may have watched you lot play, being local, but he's not a Town fan. No chance.

That would very much depend upon whether we get to play them at some point during the next decade.
