Title: Re: Adver News: Town set to lose 20 per cent from Tranmere postponement Post by: Simon Pieman on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, 08:22:43 Perhaps shutting the food kiosk in the town end before it went to extra time in the Crawley game wasn't such a good idea either. I can understand not being able to do hot food, but hot drinks take just a moment to pour. It was freezing and that's all people wanted.
Have a whinge at the weather Watkins, but stuff like that will have longer term knock on effects when people just end up bringing their own flask to football etc. Title: Re: Adver News: Town set to lose 20 per cent from Tranmere postponement Post by: leefer on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, 09:07:02 Win three on the spin and the crowd will go up by 20%..nullifying the loss.http://acfit.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/simples.bmp

I thought it was quite interesting tbh

A crowd rise of 20%, followed by a fall of 20% (or vice versa), would in fact still leave you 4% short of the original crowd. Which is why it is very difficult in football to stand still....you either tend to be progressing or regressing....you get the odd interval where the brakes are taking effect, which is probably where we are now... So recent progress has gone...we're at a temporary stand still....and now most likely to regress. The money got from the sale of Austin is going to have to be very carefully used in team strengthening... Pork Rolls from the mobile van in the car park are the way forward. It's hardly newsworthy.

Pork Rolls from the mobile van in the car park are the way forward. Batch, those burgers are indeed fucking revolting. They smell worse than they taste though - and thats saying something! That catering van outside the club shop is the nuts and their chips are even better than the chippy opposite the fire stn. I'd rather give the club my money for food etc, but its a no brainer when the quality and prices are so far apart. To be fair, food is probably fairly low down the clubs list of priorities at the moment. Its a shame though because they could make a wad if they got it sorted out.
