Title: Barca v Real Post by: glos_robin on Monday, November 29, 2010, 20:29:00 Barca are teaching Real a bit of a footballing lesson so far tonight (2-0 at the moment), nothing in England even comes close to being as good to watch as Barca, they make Arsenal look like a long ball team.

Admittedly we all thought "El Clasico" referred to Droylsden v Orient Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: Rich Pullen on Monday, November 29, 2010, 20:45:39 You mean it didn't? In fairness this thread appeared first.
I saw Barcelona in 2008 and they are by far the best footballing team I've seen to date. Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: glos_robin on Monday, November 29, 2010, 20:49:45 The games frantic as the mad ref seems intent on giving no fouls whatsoever.... Messi just got booked for Carvalho elbowing him in the face which was bizarre.
Half time now Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: Batch on Monday, November 29, 2010, 20:49:50 In fairness this thread appeared first. Apologies. I'm a slow reader. Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: jb on Monday, November 29, 2010, 20:50:42 Apologies. I'm a slow reader. Apologies. I can't read. Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: Langers on Monday, November 29, 2010, 20:54:43 Barca have destroyed Real. And they are all whinning little girls.
Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: Nemo on Monday, November 29, 2010, 20:59:11 Mourinho's match reaction could be worth a watch.
Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: glos_robin on Monday, November 29, 2010, 21:14:22 3-0 Barca, Barca are by far the best team in the world to watch
Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: glos_robin on Monday, November 29, 2010, 21:16:37 4-0 now
Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: leefer on Monday, November 29, 2010, 21:21:42 3-0 Barca, Barca are by far the best team in the world to watch Swindon. Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: glos_robin on Monday, November 29, 2010, 21:50:53 5-0 final score it would appear, Mourinho aint gonna be happy about this and Ronaldo's face is a picture hahaha
Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: pauld on Monday, November 29, 2010, 21:58:14 So much for the titanic clash between Messi and Ronaldo then. And what price "The Special One" now? :D
Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: Benzel on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 11:27:43 Ha. I knew it wouldn't live up to it's billing, but I thought it was going to end up scrappy and 1-1 or something before the game.
How wrong was I. Absolute schooling from Barca. That was absolutely unreal. Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: Summerof69 on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 12:08:05 Madrid have virtually the same defence that they had last year, which was so poor. The Real President wants to buy Galacticos, which are forward attacking players, yet if you don't buy decent defenders...you don't win anything.
Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: thepeoplesgame on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 12:18:09 Barcelona tore Real's defence to shreds last night right enough, but my appreciation of their excellent football was continually spoiled by the ridiculously over the top and biased commentary. Was there really any need to bring Franco into it? It's just a fucking football match.
As much as I like Barcelona's football, I hate their propaganda machine just the same. Every time Barca are playing, the commentators are seemingly biased towards Barca and their 'wonderful football'. That's why was glad Inter beat them in last seasons semi-final (don't forget the playacting !!!). Every so often something comes along which restores faith in the beautiful game....and there it was last night a thing of beauty.... a work of art Title: Re: Barca v Real Post by: thepeoplesgame on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 17:24:04 Just maybe they mentioned their "wonderful football", because it was fucking wonderful. The bollocks is part of the modern game....I can largely ignore it and focus in on the football. |
