Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: Mister Lorenzo on Friday, June 24, 2005, 19:40:45 Just read the following on the Football rumours website;
[ Quote i]after numerous exits from the county ground andy king will be signing many players, like, Ricky Shakes, Lee Trundle, Lee Holmes (loan), Tommy Doherty, Mickey Bell, he has so far only expressed interest in 2 of these, but my sources have told me they will all be coming. Probably a load of old bollocks but who knows? Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: Whits on Friday, June 24, 2005, 19:47:53 Pretty sure we couldn't afford Trundle or Doherty plus trundle is a ledgend in Swansea i don't think he will ever leave. Would love to have holmes back for a season though!
Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: magicroundabout on Friday, June 24, 2005, 19:54:07 holmes and trundle mate would be ace but i doubt we could afford trundle.
here's hoping though eh Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: DV on Friday, June 24, 2005, 20:10:14 Would Trundle really leave Swansea for us....hell no

As that is more than we got for SSP (once you take out Chelsea's cut), I'd say this is a load of genitals. Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: unclemark on Saturday, June 25, 2005, 08:49:24 That site is really shite.
Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: magicroundabout on Saturday, June 25, 2005, 09:10:40 Quote That site is really shite. i agree but you have to laugh at some of the things they put on there. makes for interesting reading even if it isn't true Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: adje on Saturday, June 25, 2005, 09:20:07 That would be ironic-when we could have had Eastwood for shit all.
Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: Tails on Saturday, June 25, 2005, 11:19:33 Eastwood is over rated.
Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: unclemark on Saturday, June 25, 2005, 20:20:05 But we still could have had him for nothing
I think that Parkin is a slightly better player. Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: Marie on Saturday, June 25, 2005, 22:37:21 mickey bell? isn't he 37 odd?

Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: Reg Smeeton on Sunday, June 26, 2005, 17:12:38 The latest rumour I've heard is that the player in the pipeline is Matthew Tipton of Macclesfield......
Title: Marton Fulop Post by: Batch on Sunday, June 26, 2005, 17:33:11 Quote from: "someSpiriteonMOS" You've got yourself a cracking yougn keeper there now, we we're hoping to get him back on a season long loan but it wasn't to be. Excellent shot stopper and was getting more and more confident on crosses with every game with us. Be prepared to see him kick it to the other 18 yard box seemingly with out effort! Good luck for the season. Spurs keeper on a season long loan?? Maybe?? Why would we need one. i assume Evans signed whilst I was on holiday, so what would be in it for the lad? Could be guff of course. Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: kick_ass1987 on Sunday, June 26, 2005, 20:22:33 because we lost booky didnt we, we only have matty "blunder a half" bulman, (as he is known) as sub, then i think that leaves us with only 1 reserve goalie, matty will get chances in cup games, but he isnt ready
Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: kick_ass1987 on Sunday, June 26, 2005, 20:25:54 Back to the first post.... the only teams Trundle would go to, is a team topping league 1, or a team in a higher division.... swansea will not be far of the play-offs this season, so it makes no sence leaving his beloved swansea for us, who are predicted a long season :-))( . i think the torquay lad has had talks, or at least the clubs have, but not sure with what will happen with the money side of things, if we are trying to get the 300k down, or just give up.... but would like to see matthew tipton to come to the CG, he could do well
Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: Crozzer on Sunday, June 26, 2005, 23:16:29 Bell may be going to Rovers.

Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: le god cuervo on Monday, June 27, 2005, 09:40:04 no chance would we get docherty from city, i thought the whole reason we wanted to leave there was because they weren't 'big' enough now he's a northern ireland superstar?
cureton would be a good signing Title: New Signings (rumours) Post by: Whits on Monday, June 27, 2005, 11:53:36 Quote from: "Barnard" Hi all, first post on this forum.
