Had Don Rogers at Palace for a while and tried to turn him into a midfield playmaker. He figured, as he got a bit older and slower, he could use his passing skills, to extend his career. Sadly we never got to find out, due to injury. Sounds as though his latter years were pretty awful for him - very sad. RIP
