The Arrow is closest and there's usually a good mix of Swindon and Yeovil.

The Arrow is really the only pub within walking distance of the ground. Friendly pub and never any hassle.

Not sure im going to this now, might be going Plymouth instead.

This could be bad news because the last 3 years I've been twice and we won and the year I didn't we lost. Sorry.

I really dislike Yeovil for an away day due to the lack of close pubs, rubbish ground and generally shit atmosphere.  Saying this I will be going on Saturday due to the shit fixture list that we have this season.

For some strange reason I am quite looking forward to going and reading the matchday programme oh er  :girlgiggle:

I love yeovil away.

Me too except this fucking year, we booked up for a holiday in the deep south of Cornwall over a year ago, bad timing, so I can't make my "home" game this year.

You can get group savers from Swindon to Yeovil Pen Mill for £7.35 each if you buy 4 tickets.

I just wish Yeovil was a bit more like Hereford. They came out of non league, but have an in town ground with a roof on the terrace, and even a train station actually in the middle of the Town.

I know we have no right to complain given the Stratton bank, but its a shame that putting roofs on ends isnt a priority for clubs anymore. Id love to see a roof on the bank and Town fans at both ends of the ground.

It's pretty much the only place pre match. The only other pub reasonably close is the Airfield Tavern, but that's still a fair hike away from the ground (And it's shit).
