Created a massive upheaval at the club, owner disappeared, manager and half the players quit at the end of the next game on the pitch IIRC

In the space of a couple of sentences they say he lived In Sutton, Carshalton and Wallington, although all near each other not the same places. Anyway glad I've got an alibi!

Wouldn't surprise me if its suicide as his club has gone bust or it could be something more sinister.... On the positive side, I think the journo in question was trying to be amusing, just read the following quote from the article, it's golden...
