Still unsure about this "partnership". Would like to see another CB brought in just in case.

Yeah but he still had a few moments where he got caught in possession. The other (new) centre back wouldn't have to start but just offer another option. 3 CB's isn't enough for a season is it?

Well you can never have enough but Morrison was the best player on the pitch for me today...good tackling,good passing and an assist for the goal.

Definitely Ifiled a two. And we looked susceptible to a ball over the top a couple of times.

But that is examining with a fine tooth comb. 3 clean sheets says it all.

Morrison has been excellent since he's come into the team.

Need to get him and Scotty signed up.

he did seem to think he was hoddle at times, dinging 50 yard ballls out to the wing. but failing.

Played very well otherwise though

Fuck me he is a defender aint he??????...course every pass isn't going to go to feet..but he tried to pass to feet and if he had a 50% success rate like he probably did for a defender that is good in my book..............good player and they better extend his contract quick otherwise it will be another player flying the nest for fuck all.
If he had been a midfielder or attacker i would have said his passing wasn't great.....but he is a no nonsense defender learning his trade.....at least he tried to pass and overall didn't do to bad.

As i said in the other thread it's hard to pick out a pass when you have no options. with no width he only had really kennedy to knock it to.

Plus, I'm sure Wilson had told them to look long for Pericard, as we tried it (and failed) alot, the majority of Smiths kicks went that way, so it was obviously in our game plan.

As, it has been said in the match day thread - the diamond midfield has its positives and negatives.

the rest of his game was good.not slating the lad as he played well.he needs to improve his distribution though.a 50% pass rate aint good enough

Morrison should have been man of the match imo.
