Ah!  My eyes!  Shit I knew I shouldn't have read the comments at the bottom.

Wilson has apparently lost it

He is passed his sell by date

He is unaware there are problems in defence so he should be sacked.

Fitton needs to act now before its too late

Why do I torture myself by looking at what these retards say?

Gow can on either wing

Gow can what on either wing?

BTW. It is fair to be a grammar Nazi towards somebody who is being paid for it.

Another player who MIGHT have ability....would prefer a player who has proven ability, even if that costs a bit more.
Some good players at our club but also to many that MIGHT one day blossom.

Definitely a good calibre of player. I remember him doing well for Falkirk i think, which won him a move to Rangers. Hasn't really made headlines since, although has been at some good clubs (Norwich, Plymouth).

More an attacking midfielder than an out-and-out striker in my eyes.

There must be something about him given the clubs that he's been at and he also turned down
a move to Wolves 2 yrs ago.Grayson who was then at Blackpool, took him from Rangers.Sturrock
took him to Plymouth and it was only because he had a falling out with Mariner, that he was released.

He failed his medical at Wolves, he didn't turn them down...

I suspect that if he signs Leefer, we will be paying him a lot of money. If the rumour about the 5k wage cap is true (and it sounds feasible to me) then he is certainly going to be towards the upper end of it. He did well enough in the SPL for Rangers to take a punt on him so I reckon that's as proven as we're going to get really.

Bangkok....i dont,Wilson dosn't.....maybe even Mr Gow dosn't know!
That was the point of my observation Red...........................................i want a few players here ware we DO know...to many Pericards and OBriens here on good money who MIGHT one day be ok...well i would rather he pay a tad more on proven ability.....at least on a player who is consistant.
Its not a gripe at thee club..its my opinion.

I remember seeing some match from Sweatie land, possibly Falkirk and Gow looking quite handy, thought at the time, a name to look out for, but it was a while back and he's not really done much since.  Tall leggy midfielder, who could run with the ball....

I find it appalling that we haven't put in a bid for Messi yet.

Fitton out.

Indeed Reg, he had a good run with Falkirk then, as a lot of players do, went to a big club and got a bit lost. Then picked up a few niggling injuries which set him back. Let's face it, we're not going to be able to afford any one who is playing and scoring regularly. As I've said, this lad is about as proven as we're going to get and even he isn't going to come cheaply by any means.

Why oh why do they put a cooments section on Adver articles it's an open invitation for complete mongs to post their tardy views  ???

Admittedly there are a few decent posters but the bad out weigh the good.

it takes the average adver user 20 minutes to write a comment tbf. 15 of which is spent licking the screen

I cannot bring myself to even scroll down the page to read the comments any more, they are clearly posted by some mentally disturbed people so I no longer waste my time on them.

Quite surprised by that actually normally they slag off every player that plays for them.

Really? Now that does surprise me. As Rich said, they're a bloody negative bunch most of the time, so it came as a pleasant surprise to hear them praise one of their players!

I was living and working in Plymouth when Vince was there on loan and rest assured that the season ticket holders I knew didn't rate him in the slightest.

It's a free country and even if their views are seemingly retarded, they should be allowed to express them.

I'm actually glad the Adver comments section is open, because it leads some good posters here and keeps a lot of the people who post rubbish in their own little bit. At least on here even if I don't agree with people they general post some well reasoned perspectives or just take the piss a bit and make me smile.
