Title: Mr Peter Arkell Post by: ronnie21 on Friday, August 27, 2010, 15:01:06 Hope this is in the right place but I am sorry to report that Mr Peter Arkell, from Arkells Brewery, died last night. His nephew Nick was on the Swindon Board for a few years and his company sponsors the North Stand. Mr Arkell retired as chairman of the brewery a couple of years ago.

Let us use his Pool...let us help ourselfs to his beer collection and made sure we was never hungry. He was proud of Swindon and his families ties with the Town. RIP.
