Title: Europa League matches tonight
Post by: oxford_fan on Thursday, August 19, 2010, 16:37:06
A good evening of footy on the tele, Villa reserves are away to Rapid Vienna (on Council TV 4 now), and later on its Liverpool at home to Trabzonspor (Council TV 1).

Both matches look like being decent, though Villa's lineup is alarmingly inexperienced for what I mistakenly thought was a pretty important match - debuts for two players and I think only three who started at the weekend. Another chance to see this Albrighton lad though, and perhaps even a chance for Emile Heskey to score a rare goal.

Rapid 1 - 1 Villa

Liverpool 3 - 0 Trabzonspor

That would be Iain Dowie.

That explains why we are getting the same level of insight as if it was Simon Day of the Fast Show.
