Title: Re: Where the hell were we: Post by: 4D on Monday, August 16, 2010, 23:02:08 I will say the singing in the concourse was great, it just wasn't carried through to the seats.

Title: Re: Where the hell were we: Post by: 4D on Monday, August 16, 2010, 23:08:44 I've just watched the pen clip and it doesn't even show the final winning pen :(
Title: Re: Where the hell were we: Post by: shady on Monday, August 16, 2010, 23:11:48 Just noticed that too, cheeky bastards, must be rectified

Title: Re: Where the hell were we: Post by: 4D on Monday, August 16, 2010, 23:15:46 On the subject of game clips, there was a great one of Ward's goal in the first leg against Charlton (filmed by a Charlton fan from the bank) I can't find it now >:(
Title: Re: Where the hell were we: Post by: shady on Monday, August 16, 2010, 23:42:08 As is well known on the forum, I sat amongst the Charlton fans for the game, couldn't get a ticket in our end, but it was amazing, never swap that for anything, shame what followed at Wembley. We will prevail Swindon, sure of the fact:

Title: Re: Where the hell were we: Post by: Melksham Red on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 07:49:44 I think we've all accepted how shit we were collectively that day. If we get to Wembley again any time soon, lets make sure it doesn't happen again. Move on.

Title: Re: Where the hell were we: Post by: Ardiles on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 08:04:37 I will never understand (properly) why it went wrong at Wembley that day. Just as I will never forget the knot in my stomach that lasted the full 100 odd minutes in the old stadium in 1993. If we ever get back there soon, we need designated singing areas. We sang like we had never sung before in the pub before that game...and then at the stadium, nothing. Even now, it just doesn't add up.
Title: Re: Where the hell were we: Post by: Fred Elliot on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 08:48:34 Why the fuck does this need yet another thread, especially in GD
This has been done to death already in the 39 other threads about it Title: Re: Where the hell were we: Post by: Barry Scott on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 08:55:27 I agree Fred. Nothing like going over old ground in a typically negative manner. It does my head in. We're in a new season trying to look forward and shady has to start a thread whinging about Wembley? Talk about obsessing about the past.
