Post by: Fred Elliot on Friday, August 13, 2010, 18:56:23 after three and a half years of taking two tablets daily, I have been told that my sixth scan has come back as normal and that I can stop taking my medication. I really want to thank the team at GWH for putting up with me for this period and also all you lot that, whilst taking the piss an awful lot, have supported me through this god awful time
They have stressed that I am not cured, and might, just might have another seizure in the future, but there is no reason what so ever for me to be restricted any further in the way I live my life. They never really diagnosed the root cause of mine, so I've never had the nerve to come off the meds and risk losing my driving licence again.
