Post by: MichaelPook on Thursday, August 5, 2010, 14:12:20
I know I will get some stick as always ... but I thought Id start this thread.

I shall be at the Merlin pre-match - Southampton v Plymouth is the Hors d'œuvre for our game

Any of the usual crowd be there? I shall probably take up my position about 12 of the clock

See you there I hope!  8)

Nope. I don't like buses.

I like them if they are taking me to football on a saturday.

Especially if Im off to watch a Swindon team like this one!

Besides, Im not rebelious enough to swig two cans behind the wheel. So bus it is.

Probably one of the pubs opposite the train station. The one on the left as you walk out, can't remember its name

Are the police likely to allocate Brighton a pub? I don't want to be tucking into some grub listening to a load of "Seagulls" chants.  :(

I'm gonna be in the Pig on the Hill, for a fair few pints, (as its my birthday as well) before somehow stumbling down the hill towards the ground, perhaps getting some chips on the way. Lovely stuff.

Does that involve drinking in a number of different pubs whilst wearing a small skirt?

Sir Dans for me & stfctownenda. Not going to bother with the CGH as it takes far too long to get served for my liking.

It involves drinking in 3 or 4 pubs, not enough to be considered a proper pub crawl

I was gonna say... driving probably wasn't the best idea if you're on a pub crawl.

Rude not to have a few beers before Spud, really looking forward to the game tomorrow hope we can bring Brighton down a peg or 2.
