If anyone blows one of those Vuvuzela's near me they run the risk of me snatching out of their hands, throwing it on the floor then me stomping on it about 100 times

I think if someone blows one near me I will shove it up their ass so when they will need to fart to play the bloody thing.

I think that anybody who puts the club in a situation where this has to be considered should hang their head in shame.

Likewise, but it will he shoved sideways, so it wouldn't even play if they farted.

There's a lot of hostility around here.  If someone blows one near me I may be forced to ask them, ever so politely, to blow it a little bit more quietly.  But only if its not too inconvenient to them, of course.

Me and my 2 friends have them and can't wait for the new season to start so we can use them spur on the team to many a victory. We sit in drs below the poxford flag, feel free to come say hello :)

No, quite the opposite in fact.

I think everyone should get one free with their season ticket, and should be forced to take it with them to every game.

Yes, because

(a) they're rubbish; and
(b) 'vuvuzela' sounds like a gynaecological complaint.

If you don't take your ticket with you they won't let you in.

"I'm sorry but I've left my season ticket at home, but here's the vuvuzela you sent me ..."

"Yeah, right ... "

I though Fitton was changing the Music the team run onto the pitch to the vuvuzela's 100 greatest hits.

Elf and Safety risk apparently:

Even more dangerous than L&P's lethal bits of paper.

Is there anything that isnt elf and saftey risk these days?  I'm suprised they havnt just banned football altogether beacause one of the players might get a bruise or the ball could hit someone in the crowd.

That said, Vuvuzelas should be banned, but beacuse they are fucking irratating, not beacause they are somehow going to damage someones hearing

Quite agree, but should we find ourselves plagued with an outbreak of the bloody things, this could be a useful nugget to store away if the club won't ban them on "fucking irritating" grounds

Whilst obviously we all dream of a county ground ringing out with original songs, all of which are sung in perfect unison and harmony, if we're honest with ourselves, we fucking suck, and it's not going to happen comma fullstop.

I'd suggest replacing vuvuvuvus with recorders. That would be cool.

That depends on whether Ben was referring to melodic or temporal unison.
