Boris Becker at Wimbledon, 1985.

I can't really remember for a footballer. Obviously Klinsmann but I'm sure I noticed it way before that.

Well lads according to Jimmy Mcilroys Biography by Dave Thomas[The Prince Of Inside Forwards]published last year he was a frequent diver for Burnley in the 1950s.But knock me down with a feather Harry Potts was diving in the 1940s for Burnley he reveals. So there you are you young pups something to throw into the conversation at your next dinner party
                                           NIGHT--NIGHT

Thanks, GON......cheers m......oh he's gone to bed.

Well I'm sure looking forward to telling my ol' man about this revelation......according to him my generation is to blame for everything and the world was a perfect place when he was a lad.

You mean there are still people around who remember these days OFIF.This revelation has made my life worth taking the pills to stay alive. You young lads and this generation get blamed for many things, but if the senile old sods look back without their rose coloured specs on they might realise things were not as good as they thought.

To be honest, the first time I remember being at a game and thinking "that's clearly a dive" was (oh no he didn't...) Chalkie at Wembley.

He's not that old really, only just past retirement-age, & he started watching the Town in the 40's.

I'm liking you more & more - I'll show him your post when I next see him with a satisfied grin on my face.

Was talking this morning to a Town fan about the behaviour of Andy Gray in that second leg at Wolves.

He said he vowed if he ever got a chance to floor Andy Gray in his life then he'd take it.
