Title: Video Conversion
Post by: sheepshagger on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, 16:01:52
I am hoping someone has some experience here  :)

I want ot convert Blue Ray to a source that I can stream from PC (NasBox) to my TV - my TV has a DNLA server installed so can do quite a lot of formats - but trying to use ANYDVD HD to convert doesn't seem to work on the TV.

When I convert it will play through the PS3 - BUT for some reason I can never seem to get English - only the foreign languages or the commentary with the directors words !!

Confused !!!!!

What formats have you tried then? Getting it to play anything would be a start.

The TV will play most formats to be fair - but I want to keep the quality of Blue Ray.

I have gigabit network "hird wired" to the TV so bandwidth is not an issue....I have a NetGear ReadyNas Pro so the Nas box will pump it down without any problems.....

TV "should" play MKV - but this seems to be hit or miss - and I am unsure of other formats which will keep the full 1080p format.....
